Extra Trains Have Been Put On the Gifford Road.
Affairs on the Gifford railroad are moving right along. . At McCoysburg a large force is at work getting ready, to cross the Monon, but whether the road is to be crossed on a' level or by, means of a viaduct is not known except to those on the inside. There will probably be some opposition from the Monon if an attempt is made to cross their track on a level. Two extra passenger trains have been put on, making three in aIL Connection is made with the Monon milk train both morning and evening, which affords an excellent opportunity, for the people living along the road to visit Rensselaer in the mo min.* and return in the evening, giving a full day here to do their trading. The Gifford trains pass at Pleasant Grove, which makes that little station quite a busy place at train time.
