Motion Brings Suit to Enjoin Railroad Commission.
The Monon railway company brought suit in the Superior Court Monday in which it asked that an injunction be granted against the Railroad Commission of Indiana preventing the from enforcing a recent order regulating the rates for the interchange of freight between the C., I. & L. and the Indianapolis Southern Railway at Bloomington, Ind. The company alleges that it has at a great expense encouraged the erection of twenty miles of factories, coal and lumber yards at Bloomington by laying private switches. A rate of $3 per car load of freight was fixed as the rate for the interchange of freight between the two roads at Bloomington and the C., I. & L. company alleged that this rate is below the cost of the service. *
