Commencements Held at Wheatfield and Tefft.

The annual commencement of the town of Wheatfield and Wheatfield, Walker and Keener townships was held at the opera house in Wheatfield on Saturday afternoon. The house was crowded. There were fifteen graduates. Prof.. Neet, of the Valparaiso University, delivered the address. In the evening the Kankakee township commencement was held at the new M. E. church at Tefft. There were six graduates. Superintendent Lamson, of Rensselaer, spoke. At the conclusion of the exercises the Ladies’ Aid of the M. E. church held a social and were well patronized. All present report this one of the most enjoyable affairs <iever held in Tefft.
