Industrial Company Is After Factories for Rensselaer.

The Republican is in receipt of a letter from L, D. Price, of the Chicago Industrial Co. in reference to an article that recently appeared in these columns taking the company to task for not making greater headway in securing factories for Rensselaer. Mr. Price says: "We did not state that we could locate a factory immediately, or even intimate such a thing, but we did say that we would locate a factory, and this we will do if you give us ample time. In every place where we have created fundß through the sale of lots we have located factories, with the exception of Waterloo, where we have Just finished the creation of their fund. We are at this tlifie figuring with three or four industries for Rensselaer, and are doing all that we possibly can to get an industry in your city. It takes a little patience and a little time and tact to handle them. Other citieß where we have created funds have held their funds as long as 18 months before securing an industry."
