Hon. Jesse E. Wilson Will Retain His Position.

Hon. Jesse E. Wilson, assistant Secretary of the interior, has given such satisfaction in .his work, that in, all liklihood he will be retained. The following dispatch from Washington appeared in today’s papers: Jesse* Wilson, of Rensselaer, Ind., assistant secretary of the interior, probably will be added soon to the list of prominent Indiana officeholders in Washington whose places are to be secure under the Taft administration. Representative Crunipacker will call on President Taft this week and express the wish that Mr. Wilson shall not be disturbed. Senator Beveridge is also friendly to Mr. Wilsea. As an official, Mr. Wilson’s record is of the best, and it is that the President has no thought of removing him. - *• -
