Superintendent Lamson Stuck In the Mud.

County Superintendent Lamson and wife had an experience Saturday, night in their automobile that they do not soon care to repeat. They were returning from attending the commencement at Wheatfield and Tefft and when near Zadoc their machine sfuck in the mud. This happened about midnight and they worked for two hours before they got the machine released. No house was near and they, had to depend on their own resources. A bridge was near and Mr. Lamson finally secured a board there and by the use of the board and a small jack which he carried with him on his trips, they finally got the machine out of the mud. Mrs. Lamson stood on one end of the board which was used as a pry and Mr. Lamson used the jack and the power from the machine and secured their release. They got home at 3 o’clock Sunday morning.
