PLEASANT GROVE.

Bill Herrington, of Kersey, is working for C. P. Moody these days. Charley Webb seems rather lonesome these days and I wonder why? Everybody is anxious to get into their fields to cultivate corn, which they have been kept from so doing by the recent heavy rains. C. P. Moody is putting up a milk house and some water tanks at his residence in the corporation of Pleasant Grove. The wild west show, that was given at Pleasant Grove last Friday evening was attended by a large crowd, who say it was bum. Mr. and Mrs. .Ed Randle were seen in our midst riding around in Charley Odom’s new automobile drive by Dr. Kelsey. We wonder if Ed has an auto bee in his bonnet. Mr. and Mrs. George Cox, James Cox and Miss Kate Conway, all of Medaryville, with Mr. Hall in his new automobile, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Wentz and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tillman Watson and family and John Richmond and family took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Wiseman’s Sunday, and attended the funeral of Albert Long at Brushwood. Quite a number of neighbors have gathered at the Brown cemetery and cleaned up their lots. The writer thinks it would be a good plan if all -interested would gather there some day and give it a general clean up.
