Boy Seriously Kicked by a Mule.
The five-year-old son of Ott Sheffer, of Parr, met with quite a serious accident about ten o’clock this forenoon. He was playing in the barn-yard and childlike was after a mule. The mule was cornered and kicked at the boy, striking hlnft in the head. The nose was badly crushed and the skull was split open leaving the brain exposed. A local physician was called and removed portions of the crushed bones and dressed the wound. When he left the little fellow was resting easy and getting along as well as could be expected. Mr. Hayner, expert piano tuner and repairer from Chicago, will be in town on Wednesday, June 16th, or as near that date as possible. Patronage respectfully solicited.
