Fire Department to Hold Contest Thursday Evening.

The Rensselaeffv Fire Department has divided itself into sections for the purpose of holding a contest Thursday evening, and the program looks very interesting and should crowd the streets. Chief Montgomery will have Orlan Grant, Jim George, John Eigelsbach, Earl Chestnut and Frank Kresler on his team. Assistant Chief Rhoades will have Torn Hoyes, Vern Robinson, Carl Wood. Van Grant and Rex Warner. Chester Zea will drive for both sections. The contest will bo to see which section can make the beat time in hitching up, driving 1,200 feet to tbe library corner, laying 200 feet of hoee, attaching the nozzle and throwing water. The price is a box of cigars, which Kipllnger £ Harmon have donated. The first run will be made at about 8 o’clock. "■ 1 Collegian clothes, Fr&t clothes and Pre-Shrunk are the beat that are made.
