Some Further Skin Grafting Will Be Necessary.
The return of Miss Florence Jacks, daugh£er of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Jacks, from the Hahnemann hospital in Chicago, which had been expected some day this week, has been delayed by the necessity of some further skin grafting. Proud flesh grew over the throat and this had to be removed and new cuticle grafted. This will require her to remain for at least a week longer. She is getting quite homesick but is bearing her trials with great fortitude. Her mother, from whom much of the skin used in the original grafting was procured, has been ill since her return from the hospital, having left the hospital sooner than she should and having contracted a cold that compelled her to- give up and go to bed. Florence's sister Mary has been with her at the hospital since the return t of her mother.
