John Misch, of near Wheatfleld, sor of Andrew Misch, and a nephew of Sheriff Shirer, was killed Thursday afternoon by lightning. He had been plowing in the field, and when the storm came up he unhitched his threehorse team from the plow and hitched them to the wagon and started for home. He had not gone far when a bolt of lightning descended and himself and two of the three horses were killed. * Misch was 28 years of age and an exemplary young man.
