High School.
Lural Anderson visited high school Wednesday and Walter Lutz Thursday. Several of the Seniors think they met their Waterloo on the History exam Wednesday. The differentiations of the Seniors culminated in an open quarrel this week. The contest was short but severe, and the amount of lost and wounded has not yet been ascertained, but |t is certain that several had their feelings hurt. Miss Stockridge alienated Stub’s affection from Miss Work this week, but the latter has Won him back; and he has resumed his old seat in the Senior room after his short sojourn with the Juniors. The Saturday club meets at Edna Hauter’s home this week. All are anticipating a pleasant time. Several of the Seniors have their themes back for the final copy. The History club, which was postponed on account of the storm Thursday night, met Friday evening in the library auditorium. It was the lastmeeting night, and the club enter Tained the Sophomore class and the Science and Saturday clubs. The following program was given: Music -. Edna Hauter “The American Navy”....Mr. Warren Stereopttcan slides. Music Miss Stockbridge “Sullivanville Times” Mr. Dean The refreshment committee was Nell Ryan, Helen Murray, Mureil Harris, Don Beam and Ralph Hammond. The Ancient History pupils have, banded in this term’s essays on subjects in Roman History. Anna McGee, one of the best students in the Junior class, has been compelled to quit school on account of poor health. Her teachers and class-mates sincerely regret It.
