C. A. Ball writes us from Francesville under date of Monday, April 26th, as follows: “It is with great sorrow that I Inform you of the death of one of our comrades. He answered the last roll call Monday morning; It was J. W. McMurray, our post commander. He suffered all winter from rheumatism and at the latter end of his sickness had pneumonia.” , A. J. Harmon today completed a trade as agent for Frank Ham and Philip Kistner. The latter trades to Mr. Ham his 240 acre farm in Union township for a store room, general stock'of goods and dwelling at East Dunn, in/ Benton county. Mr. Kistner has resided in Rensselaer for more than fwo years and it is now his intention to move to East Dunn and take charge of his new store. His departure will be regretted by all who have become acquainted with himself and family. Children Cry FOR FLETCHER’S O AS TORI A The Princess Theatre has been having excellent patronage under the management of Fred Phillips and Rex Warner, and they have exercised the most excellent taste in selecting film subjects. Monday night the subject was Antony and Cleopatra, and the tragedy of Shakespeare was beautifully enacted. The singing by Percy Longfellow has been a feature for the past three or four weeks. It does not cost much to see every show and is well worth the money, both as en joyment and recreation. Ayr, and Miss . Mattie Hemphill, of this city, trained nurses, are spending today in Chicago. *' Miss Mary Jacks went to Chicago this morning to see her sister, Florence, at the Hahnemann hospital.
