Mrs. Mary Rebecca Karsner Died in California.

Mrs. Harry Wiltshire has Just received word that her mother, Mrs. Mary Rebecca Karsner, died in Los Angeles, Cal., on April 10th. She went to Los Angeles with her son, Wesley, and his wife about four years ago, and made her home with them until Wesley’s death last year. Since that time she has been an inmate of the home for the aged. She was in very good health and her death was sudden. She occupied a room with, several other old people and they 414: not know that she was even ill. Finally some one addressed a remark to her and when she did not answer, it was found that she was dead. Heart failure was the cause. She was the widow of John H. Karsner and lived in Rensselaer for many years. She was 73 years of age Dec. 31st. Besides Mrs. Wiltshire she had three other children living In Rensselaer, viz. Merce, Jerry and Timothy Karsner, and two daughters, Mrs. Peter Giver and Mrs. Ellen Rodgers, the former living at Wabash. Deceased was a daughter of Henry Mercer Babb, for many years a resident of this city. Edward Babb, who lives herejs a brother, and there are two other sisters, Mrs. Susan Lock-' wood, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Ida A, Thompson, of Reedsbnrg, Wis.
