Temperance Workers Should Be Busy Election Day.
Don’t take the coming local option election result as a foregone concluion, but get out and work, both before the election and on election day. Here is an opportunity to put Jasper county permanently in the dry column and for our people to place the stamp of disapproval on the liquor business most emphatically. Every one should vote, and the temperance people should endeavor to get every man to the polls. Never before have the people of Jasper county had an opportunity to cast a ballot that would effect so certainly a jolt to the business that has so depraved humanity. Vote early and vote “dry”.
