Civil Service Examinations for Tefft and Kersey Postoffices.

The United States Civil Service Commission will hold an examination at Wheatfield, Ind., Saturday, April 24th, 1909, for the position of fourth class postmaster at Tefft, Ind., and at DeMotte, Ind., May 8, 1909, for the position of fourth class postmaster at Kersey, Ind. A supply of application blanks, regulations and information governing appointments has been forwarded to postmaster at Tefft for .Tefft applicants and at DeMotte for kersey applicants. A dispatch from Indianapolis says that Clifford Kealing, an attorney, has announced that this week he will file suit in one of the Indianapolis courts to enjoin baseball clubs from playing at Washington Park in that city on Sundays. His clients, Kealing says, will ask a restraining order to prevent the proposed American Association game with Columbus scheduled for next Sunday. Kealing says he expects to attack the constitutionality of the baseball law.
