OPTION ELECTION IN THE BALANCE.

Judge Wason Grants Temporary Injunction Against Holding of White "County Election. In Monticello Monday Judge Wason, of Delphi, granted a temporary injunction against the holding of an election in White county on the local option question next Monday, April 26th. s Reynolds & Sills, acting as the attorney for Albert Ellis, the Wolcott 9 saloon man, allege that the election was not properly advertised, that the county council has thus far failed to provide any money with which to conduct the election, that the petition presented to the commissioners is illegal because the members of the board of commissioners had themselves signed it, attacking the constitutionality of the county option law, and making other specific and general objections. The matter will be further- -argued Friday, and the election will be postponed should the attorneys for the saloon side be sustained.
