FRED STOCKSICK DIES SUDDENLY.

. Neuralgia of the Heart is Responsible for the Death of,Civil War Veteran. Fred Stocksick, a veteran of the civil war, 63 years of age, and the father of a large family of children, died at about 3:45 o’clock Sunday afternoon at his residence on Vine street. He had been in his usual health and shortly before his death had been out on his garden spot looking it over. He entered the house and, remarked to his wife that he was feeling bad and complained of a pain in his left breast. She wanted to call a physician but he thought It would not be necessary. In a few moments he was so much worse, however, that the family doctor was summoned but before his arrival Mr. Stocksick had passed away. The doctor decided that death was due to neuralgia of the heart.

Deceased leaves a widow and several children to mourn their loss. He served during the civil war in an Illinois regiment, and was one of the youngest of the civil war veterans in this county. - The funeral arrangements have not been completed and are awaiting the arrival of some of the relatives. The funeral will, however, probably be held Wednesday.
