Won’t Interfere With Gamblers. Governor Marshall, in a letter to Attorney General Bingham recently, announced that he will not take part in the supression of any gambling that Is reported at French Lick, other than to give the prosecuting attorney information that could be used as evidence against persons who violate the law. Mr. Bingham furnished the governor with alleged evidence that gambling was In progress at the resort, and in reply the executive informed the attorney general that If he w6uld give him the names of the persons who presented him with the evidence he would turn it over to the prosecutor for that district and the local authorities could handle the situation.
