Had More Wind In Jasper Than We First Learned About.

The Republican was in error in saying that Jasper county missed damage in the Tuesday night storm. There was a section east of Remington where the tornado touched ground and made things very lively for a time. The farm, on which Chet Dexter lives and which belongs to a man residing in Goodland, was the scene of very lively doings for a short time. Two barns, a crib and a chicken house were wrecked by the wind. The Wooden farm was also visited and e barn was lifted off of its foundation and set about eight feet to the east. Charley Parker made his trip with the Standard Oil wagon to Wolcott Friday and saw considerable evidence of wind damage in the neighborhood of Dexter’s. At Remington lightning the same night struck a telephone wire .leading into M. F. French’s residence and broke one window and splintered up the window casing. •
