Wabash College Glee Club Concert a Great Success.
The concert given by the Wabash College Glee Club at the Presbyterian church was a great success from beginning to end, and all agree that It Is one of the finest musical, entertainments ever given In Rensselaer. Almost every number was encored, Mr. * Rees, the baritone soloist and Mr. Walter, the specialty man, being encored three times. The glee club under the direction of Mr. Hurt gave some splendid medleys, and the mandolin club executed several selections quite faultlessly. Probably the best work of the evening was the quartette, for their selections were just spicy enough to be quite charming and each time they appeared they were enthusiastically received. The house was crowded almost past standing room, the receipts being about 1100. s
