Prof. Tillman Has An Opportunity at Anderson.

Prof. Ernest S. Tillman, who is serving his third year as teacher of Biology in the Rensselaer high school, has an opportunity to go to Anderson to fill a similar position at a substantial increase of salary. The Anderson place is already vacated, -but Prof. Tillman has been unable to get anyone to take his place here and unless he can find some one and leave matters entirely agreeable with Superintendent Warren and the school board he will not leave here at this time, but will try to arrange, to have the place at Anderson filled temporarily and then go there for next year. Prof. Tillman is one of the most capable teachers ever employed here and his decision to leave | will be met with general regret, because he is as popular outside of the school room as he is qualified in the branches he teaches. His wife is Mrs. Bessie King THlman, the librarian, who will continue to hold that position until fall even should he arrange to leave here this spring.
