John F. Judy Makes Motion For a New Trial.

W. L. Wood, accompanied by his attorney G. A. Williams, went to Kentland this morning, where before Special Judge Lairl, of Logansport, attorney for John F. Judy, will argue for a new trial in the case of Judy vs. Wood. This case was tried about two years ago at Kentland. Judy claimed that Wood owed him $7,000 in settlement and Wood claimed that the balance was in hist favor. The case was tried before Judge Lalry and a' Jury and Wood was given a Judgment for SBOO. A motion was made by the defeated plaintiff for a new trial but it" had not been argued until Monday.
