Herb Harriott helped Watson Humes saw wood Monday; Jess Walker returned Saturday after a week’s stay in Boone county. George McElfresh, Alpha McElfresh and John Clouse called on William Green and family Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Davisson,, Jess Walker and Mrs. Thomas Parker visited Mr. and Mrs. George Davisson Sunday. The wind was from the northesat during the equinox and a few days before, which is a good indication of a cold dry spring. Joseph Pullins lost a valuable cow Friday which was caused from the cow eating a quantity of dynamite. Mr. Pullins was recently offered S7O -for the cow. «
