Where Sherry Comes From.

About the busiest tourist bar in Spain, some travelers say, is that in the railroad station of Jerez de la Frontera, on the road from Cadiz to Seville. It is from Jerez that the name of sherry comes, and the town of Jerez de la Frontera is the genuine sherry wine place. Most tourists know that and when the slow moving railroad train rumbles reluctantly into th/ town the foreigners who are aboard generally get off to look at the place. Naturally every one wants to have a drink of sherry in the town where It comes from, much as one would drink port in Oporto, and for that reason the little bar does a big business. It would do more, of course, if Jeres was on the main travelled line, but.., as it 1* the revenue is surprising.
