To Make Drip Coffee.

This is the best coffee obtainable when properly made, but one must be provided with the proper coffee pot ahd the best grade of coffee. Even with these, there are many who make a failure with the beverage. First of all things have the coffee strainer made of .good white cloth, fastened to the aluminum rim that comes with the coffee pot. Aif earthen one is cleaner and even more sanitary than other kinds, unlesd the very expensive metal ones. Jfirst pour boiling water into the vessel to have.it hot. Put one tablespoonful pulverized coffee in the bag and pour the hot water from the vessel before fastening the bag at the top. Have fresh boiled water gnd pour over two cups of boiling water. If it is necessary to thin the coffee when done, add boiling water. Let all water drain through the bag; pour it off and put into the bag the second time, changing it about four times. Coffee can be made in five minutes and will be a rich, dark amber when done. Lift the bag of grounds from the vessel and the dripped coffee i* ready so/ use. Always scrape the coffee from the bag with a knife, rinse the cloth in cold water, never hot, and let it dry before using it a second time. Lo not hang the bag on metal, or it -will rust. Serve coffee with rich cream or the best coffee will prove a disappointment.
