Men’s Sunday School Class Has a Banquet
The Men’s Sunday School class of the Christian church held a booster meeting at the church parlors Monday evening. It was participated in by about 40 members of the class and their friends and a very pleasant time was enjoyed. The alm is to promote the enthusiasm and increase the membership of the class, which now has an enrollment of about 40. It is hoped to have 50 in attendance by Easter. The class is taught by Rev.* Clarke, the pastor, who is proving a very instructive leader. Dominoes, flinch, crokonole and other games were played and an oyster supppr with coffee, celery, salads and pickles as side dishes, was Served. The cooking was done by Dr. W. L. Myer and Ed Hopkins and others aided in the serving. An invitation is extended to all men who are not attending other Sunday schools to identify themselves with this class.
