One of the game wardens of the state approached a hunter one day last week with the question, “Well, have any luck?" “Yes, got 12.” “You done well” said the game warden. "That’s nothing” said the hunter, “I shot 58 ducks yesterday.” “Do you know that you are talking to a game' warden? “Do you know that you are talking to the biggest liar in Jasper county?” Thos. F. Maloney, John Cooper, Harry Remley, Billy Mac, Louis Pinter, Hank Misch, Robert Mannan and Dick Dunn composed a hunting party and camped out north the past week. The party also engaged the services of the celebrated chef and duck chaser “Debs". They report an enjoyable outing. Harry Remley froze out after getting the feathers of two, Bob secured three birds and a nap, Dick found a * rat hole and a ducking, and the pure food law was violated through the vinegar bottle.
