Death of a Former Resident of This City.

B. S. Fendig received word this morning of K. Hexter, who prior to 40 years ago was engaged in business in this city with Nathan Fendlg. Although Mr. Hexter has been a resident of Chicago for 40 years or more he has made frequent visits to this city and kept up his acquaintance here, a being an especially close friend of B. S. Fendig, who hastened to Chicago upon receipt of the news of his death, and will remain there until after the funeral. Mr. Hexter was about 72 years of age.
