Floyd Hemphill Has A Very Narrow Escape.

Floyd Hemphill, tha 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Hemphill, had a narrow escape from death Saturday afternoon. In company with Carl Eigelsbach, son of J. J. Eigelsbach, he was spending the day hunting. The boys were down the river and had eaten their lunch and Carl was fooling with his rifle and didn’t know it was goaded.” As he raised the gun up and pulled the trigger young Hemphill howled with pain. The bulet which was from a 32-caliber rifle, had passed through the muscle of his left arm just below the shoulder. He was able to come to his home and is today in school. le was a close call however.
