Jasper County Telephone Company Is Economizing.

The Jasper County Telephone Co. laid off three of its central office force Saturday night, viz. Bertha and Ruby Huffman and Ina Shesler. This is done, say the owners of the company, as a necessary step of economy during the time that the country lines are being rebuilt. As many of the country lines are still down the central office Is not so busy as it is when all are worklag, and the service will probably not be crippled afiy oh account of this curtailment of the force.
