The acts passed by the General Assembly will be published the latter part of the month or early next month, according to announcement by the Secretary of State. One hundred and seventy-nine enrolled acts have been turned over to him, only one of them which does not bear the signature of the Governor. Governor Marshall passed on all of the bills placed before him, unaided, in about five days’ time. He vetoed seven bills that were not enacted into law. He has cleared his desk and is about ready to look into the question of appointing state officials. He received and accepted every enrolled act passed by each House. The House handled 638 bills during the session. The Senate handled 449. The Senate journal force has completed its work, but the House force will be at work on the records of the House.for at least ten days.
