Miller, former attorneygeneral of Indiana, one of the candidates for the republican nomination for governor, later the republican nominee for congress from the 13th district, and defeated for election, Is now to succeed J. W. Kealing as United States Mr. Miller is well known In Indiana and a man of marked ability. It is probable Senator Beveridge could not have found another man In the state better equipped for the appointment.
