Jut a Woman’s Way.
On Wednesday, March 17, at the Ellis Theatre, Lincoln J. Carter will present "Just a Woman’s Way,” the author, Mr, S. W. Pascoe, while one of the youngest dramatic writers in the country today, has shown by this effort that be must be counted on as one who will be heard from in the future. The piece is said’ to abound with thrilling incidents, comedy surpathos and passion, and is credited with being the very best of the writer’s efforts. The story is a powerful one of love and passion, dealing withs the lives of the women who are in love with one man, the plot is cleverly conceived, well told and holds the audience in rapt attention from the rise of the curtain of the first act until the final curtain. It tells the love of a wife— affectionate and true—and of an adventuress utterly devoid of all kindness, truthfullness and honor. Through the whole story runs a vein of comedy of which many an older author might well envy. The production is complete in every detail and every act is carried by the company. The effects, while they do not depend upon horse play, gun fight or other thread bare situations so com* men now-a-days on the popular priced stage, are fan more effective and The cast has been well and carefully selected with a view to making each character stand out and which has been a great factor in the success this piece has enjoyed wherever it has been seen this season.
