Mrs. Anna Warner and son Paul and Miss Mary Peregrine were in Rensselaer Thursday. Miss Cecil Jordan is home from high school at Francesville tills week on account of the mumps. G. W. Bond got busy with his four horse road drag Tuesday when the gravel was drying, and f iled in the big ruts and has made a good example to go by. The infant babe of Mr. and Mrs. August Tigler has i een qute s.ck with a severe cold the past week that threatened phnovn onia, but it was some better at this writing. A package of Hi st class ma 1 was delivered at tne home of “Cairier” R. L. Bussell and w.fe Saturday, Fb. 27th, and they think she is ti e cutest little bunch tnat e.er happened. Hanging Grove circuit court was set for 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon in McCoysburg, at J. P. Repair work is going on rapidly on the farmers’ telephone line the past few days and soon the line will be in good condition again. Arrangements have been effected with the Bell company to put in a switchboard at Lee in Ot Jacks' store, and when the lines are all connected up aga n th re is no reason why excellent service cannot be had.
