Postmaster Murray conducted a civil service) examination last Satuiaay, holding the same in tie gut court room at the court house. It was for the selection of a cairler for the new Parr rural route and there were six candidates, vis, Chas. U. Garriott, Clyde Gunyon, Edward Barkley, Allen Witham, Al McCurtain and Chas. Lakin. The rural route from Parr will go over the following route: From Pair east to the Schroer bridge, north to the old Blackford corner, qpsc to F. M. Hayes’ corner, north to the Norman corner, east to W. N. Jordan’s corner, north to the cross roads and east to Gifford; vest to Ritter comer, south to Hurley corner, wett to Newman Snow corner, south to M. P.
