Trustees’ Meeting.

The township trustees held tte.'r regular monthly meeting Monday afternoon in the county superintendent's office. The matter of the graduation examinattcn was taken up. It was decided to hold two examinations in each township on the third Saturday of March and April. Applicants who fail upon the fint examination may try the second. They will only be required to take those subjects on the second examination in which their grades on tne first examination were less than 80 per cent. The examinations are to be held at the following places: Barkley township, Center. Carpenter township. Remington. Gillam township, Center. Hanging Grove, McCoysburg. Jordan township, Egypt Kankakee township, Tefft Keener township, DeMotte. Marion township, Rensselaer. Newton township, No. 4. . _ . Union, township, March at Parr, April at Fair Oaks. Walker township, Center. Wheatfield township, 'Wheatfield. ■ Reports from the teachers as to members of the corn club for next year showed that quite an interest was being taken in the woik oyer the county. So far as had been reported nearly 800 boys bad expressed a desire to become members of the club next year. Probably not over 76 per cent of the schools had been heard from as yet and it was the opinion of Superintendent Lamson that the number would be over 400.
