Death of Mrs. Katherine Fawcett

Mrs. Katharine Fawcett died this Thursday morning at 3:30 o’clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. V. Ransford, where she had been for several months. Almost fir© yean ago, Mrs. Fawcett and her husband took a government claim in the state of Washington, near Riverside, and there her husband died. She took up the work of proving up the claim and worked with such diligence that her health gave way and she came here for treatment, and to be with her sister. An operation was performed some months ago, but it gave only temporary relief. Deceased leaves a little son, Victor, aged 8 years. She was 42 jeers of age The remains were shipped to Beloit, Wig., this afternoon, being preceded by a ?hort funeral service at the nouse, conducted by Rev. J. C, Parrett, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Mr. Ransford and little son and the little son of the deceased accompanied the remains to Be’oit, where they will be interred by the grave side of her husband.
