Another Big Stock Sale.
McDonald & Phillips, who for the past four years have been extensively engaged in the stock business, having had the McCoy ranch at McCoysburg rented, have been unable to arrange terms for leasing tee land from its present owners, the Connecticut Insurance Co., and are compelled to dispose of their stock. To this end’ they will hold a public sale on Thursdya, Feb. 11, in the town of McCoysburg, and dispose of their cattle, horses, etc. Of the 135 head of cattle, 120 head are 3-year-old steers, good native stock, of good quality and in fair flesh. They will also sell 24 head of horses, the list being published' in the Republican, on the 131118, and in several other papers. The sale season is almost over and as there are no competing Bales at this time and as thei sale will be extensively advertised there should be a great crowd of buyers. Arrangements have been made to have all the Monon trains stop at McCoysburg that day, so that persons wishing to go from Rensselaer can go down on the 10:55 train and return on the 3:18.
