Markets are Just the Thing.

The dally markets as printed in the Republican are attracting much favorable attention. They were printed in full for ,the first time Wednesday and a comparison of the markets in any issue of the Evening Republican with those in the Chicago par pers of the following morning will show that they are identical. The majority of farmers take a daily paper almost solely for the markets, and If the Daily JRepublican can give the same service it should satisfy the demand just as well as a Chicago paper and give all the local news at the same time. The Republican will improve the markets from’ time to time as conditions warrant, and we shall be pleased to enroll the names of any of our Semi-Weekly subscribers on the daily list. The Evening Republican is now being sent to many of our progressive farmers and many others have volunteered to take it as soon as a good market was established. The Daily will be sent at the rate of $3.50 per year by mail, or 10 cents per week by carrier within the carrier district. Look over the markets in the evening paper and you will see the same hog receipts, estimates or receipts of the following day and opening, closing, high and low grain prices.
