Mrs. Catherine Perigrine Parsels.
Mrs. Catherine Peregrine Parsels was bora In Jasper county, Ind., Sept 14, 1848, and died In Hanging Orove township, at her late residence, Feb. 21, 1909, at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to John Parsels Feb. 26, 1877. TO this union were born four children, two of whom died in infancy, one son, Isaac, who resided with his mother, and one daughter, Mrs. Ora Turner, of Rensselaer, still survive. 'Her husband died in 1886 and she was married again to Mr. Joseph Parsels in 1888, who also died In 1902. Besides her son and daughter, ike leaves to mourn thsir loss five grand children, one stepson and three stepgrand children, four' brothers and two sister* as follows: Miss Anna Perlgrins, Miss Nancy Peregrine, James John. Mike and Clark Perl grins, all of whom reside In Jasper county. At the age of 16 Mrs. Parsels united with Diadple church and later, after her marriage she went with her husband to the Mdthodlst Episcopal church, and continued a faithful member until her death, holding her fellowship at Las. She left a bright testimony in her last hours of her abiding faith In Ood.
