Death of Mrs. Judson Perkins.
Mrs. Judson Perkins, who seemed to be considerably improved in health . Thursday took much worse that afternoon and gradually sank away, expiring at about 1 o’clock this Fri*day morning. Mrs. Perkins had been an invalid for several months and for the past four weeks had been confined to her bed. The nature of the disease was never fully determined upon, And after her death the physicians held a postmortem examination and it was found that cancer of the stomach was responsible for deat£. Mrs. Perkins was h woman of very becoming traits of character and thoseWho knew her best are greatly grieved at her death. She was born Oct. 1, 1845, being past 63 years of age. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Jay W. Stockton and Miss Ethel Perkins, and one son, Samuel H. Perkins, The funeral will take place at the First Baptist church at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, the service being conducted by Rev. O. E. Miller, the pastor. ' ' The casket will not be opened, at the church, but friends wishing to view the remains may do so at the house at any time after 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
