Clinton County Goes Dry.

Clinton county went dry Tuesday by the large majprity of 2,056. Frankfort Is the county seat and the temperance tendencies of that ciy had evidenced themselves by remonstrance some time ago, and only one saloon in the county will be affected by the vote. It was thought by the saloon sympathizers there that when placed to a vote the wets would carry, and they were jubilant at the moist victory in Wayne, but the temperance forces were.out In full numbers and put the saloons to route In the most commendable manner. This was the 14th county to vote in this state and all but one voted dry.
