One of tfie Freshmen/ wanted to "organize” a problem this week. A meeting of the Senior class wag held Monday evening. Roy Miller, of Piqua, Ohio, visited high school this week. The Senior German pupils have finished reading "Der Bibliothekar" and begun “L’Arrabbiata.” The Junior class are now ready to begin “Gliick Auf.” What do you know about "Beeselbub”? Ask the Junior English pails. Several of the Seniors* are going to try their lack at the January teacher's examination. In spite of the stormy evening several members were present at the History Club meeting Thursday, Jan28th. The following program wtm rendered: Call so order. Minutes of the last meeting. ’; ’ Music, Lonzo Healey. "Evolution of the Weapons of Warfare”, Forest Morton. "Progress in Ocean Travel," Ellen Childers. "Improvements on the Farm”, Hally Alter. Recitation, Mary Pierce. “History Club Prophecy," Mr. Bradshaw. Business. Mr. Bradshaw was quite successful as a soothsayer, and won considerable applause. All were quite pleased with Lonzo’s music too, and agreed that it was one of the pleasantest meetings the club has had yet The refreshments committee wag Gertrude Jackson, Geraldinq Kindig and Mr. Sullivan. • * -- - * ~~
