Archie Lee’s Operation Successful.
Archie Lee, the Evening Republican carrier boy, and son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Lee, was operated on at the family residence on Weston street Monday evening, and apparently the operation was entirely successful. The operation was performed by Dr. Byron' Robinson, of Chicago, assisted by local physicians. The Burgeon found a very bad case of appendicitis, the appendix having been badly diseased, and a pint of fluid was drawn from the abdominal cavity. They also found that inflammation of the peritoneum had set in and the operation was very timely* as much delay would have cost his life. He exhibited the greatest amount of nerve through the day, and was very anxious for the operation to take place. After the operation he came out from under the effects of the anaesthetic nicely and rested well during the night It was necessary for the surgoens to place drainage tubes in the region where the operation was performed and these will have to remain for some time, probably several weeks. The anxiety of the parents and relatives and of the many friends was greatly relieved when the success of the operation became known. Flour is an article which IS easily affected by cold air, as where the flour is really cold the dough will not work; therefore, it is well to heat flour in the oven before mixing to get good results. But to get the best results you must also have the best flour. We claim and rtand ready to prove that Aristos is the best flour made and if you do not find it so we will refund your money. Only $1.40 a sack.
