Marshall is Now Governor.

At noon Monday Thomas R. Marhall was inaugurated governor ol Indiana. The oath of office was taken in the corridor of the state house. He made a brief speech in accepting the office. His first message to the general assembly is also brief and Indicates that he does not care to recommend many thiDg3 until he has had an opportunity to give matters more thorough investigation. He said nothing in his message about a repeal of the county option law and probably some of those who expected him to take the initiative in this respect will be disappointed. Mr. Marshall has the early appearance of being a well balanced governor, a governor of all the people and it is to be hoped that he will not be drawn into political alliances that will spoil his administration.
