The Delinquent Tax List.

The Republican is late this we-k, and no one feels so bad about it as we do ourselves. “Catching the mails’’ is an important thing with newspapers but so is the publication of the delinquent tax list The law sets a time for the tax sale and requires that the notice must be published in a newspaper at least 20 days before the sale. The list is not so long this year but each description is more complete and the list takes more than two full pages of the paper. If the Republican reaches you a little late, credit us with having done all we could, day and; night for the past week, to get it to you on time.
