Death of Mrs. Franciska Bingham.
Mrs. Franciska Bingham, mother of Mrs. J. J. Eiglesbach, with whom she has lived since the death of her husband Augustus Bingham, about 23 years ago, died at 2:45 o’clock this Tuesday morning. She had been ailing for some time but carefully concealed her pickness from her daughter until last Friday morning when she was unable to get up and the family physician was called. He found upon examination that she had a cancer of the left side that had assumed such proportions that death was the certain outcome and she never rallied but gradually weakened until death came at the hour stated. Mrs. Bingham had several times spoken of a pain in her side but had never admitted that there was anything the matter, and her daughter was greatly surprised when the nature and seriousness of the' case became known. She was 75 years of age last May 9th. Her first husband was William Kaessner, and two children, viz. Mis. JJ, J. Eigelsbach, of this city, and Milliard Kaissner, of Colorado Springs, the only children born to them, survive. She was again married after the death of Mr. Kaissner, her second husband being Augustus Bingham, who died about 23 years ago. The funeral arrangements have not been completed but will probably be held at 10 o’clock Thursday at St. Augustine’s Catholic church. Burial will be made in Weston cemetery.
