High School Notes.

Back again with the usual aftervacation enthusiasm. The semester examinations are the next thing on the program. Junior English classes have finished Macbeth. Miss Avaline Kindig and her friend Miss Moody, of Northwestern University, and Miss Subertran McDonald, of Knox, visited school Monday. A meeting of the Senior class was called by the president, Lonzo Healey, Wednesday evening to make arrangements for the Senior reception. Not much was accomplished as most of the time was spent in argument as to where it should be held. The Seniors have been exceeding the wildest anticipations in regard to tardiness, and certainly have reached the high water mark. The Freshmen English pupils are studying Scott’s “Marmion.” The Chemistry class finished the s mate ’s labcrato yw rkamide md house this week. On account of the illness of the captain, Floyd Meyers, the basketball team has not practiced much this week. There will be no game next week, as that is the end of the semester and brings enough work in the way of examinations.
