Room Hired for Lot Sale.
The Commercial Club has procured the room next to the post office for use during the time that the lot sale is in progress. The plate of the new subdivision, made from the engineer’s drawings, reached the Republican office this Friday morning and the large posters will be printed within a day or two. The subdivision is laid out to conform to the Columbia addition, and consists of 264 lots east of Melville street, and on the extension, of Vine, Elm, Cherry and Plum streets. The lots are all 132 feet deep and most of them are 51 feet wide, tgjm streets running north and south and parallel with Melville are named 7th, Bth and so on to 12th. The Commercial Club will have other unplatted land lying still east of 12th street The sale will begin within a few days.
